What are they?

KROSSEN is a set of tiles that form a versatile acoustic absorber panel; their small format, in individual tiles, allows many different patterns to be created with high sound absorption that brings a new dimension of aesthetic and functional possibilities.

They are made with our special ZHFR acoustic foam, with an improved porosity coefficient to obtain the best acoustic performance in the market. Their design also brings an improvement in the reflected sound energy distribution effect (diffusion effect) throughout the room.

... inspiration

Autumn comes to the city, the landscape is tinged with ochre hues, the leaves of the plane trees fall, covering Las Ramblas with a brittle brown carpet... a traditional image that evokes the profiles of this unique tile.

What is the application used for?

An optimised soundproof treatment for the surfaces furthest from the listener point (back wall and ceiling), mounted according to a random pattern. They soften the reverberation curve and eliminate echo, helping to improve the diffusion of reflected sound energy.

A sound absorption treatment for: control rooms, recording rooms, rehearsal rooms, radio/TV broadcasting studios, home cinema...

What is their format?

  • Pieces of: 150mm x 150mm x thickness of 60mm
  • Colours: Charcoal, Garnet or Purple
  • Packages of:
    • 32 units. - area coverage = 1.2m x 0.6m (0.72 m2)
    • 60 units. - area coverage = 1.5m x 0.9m (1.35 m2)
  • Normal packaging:
    • 62cm x 62cm x 9cm (0.03m3 / 1 Kg.)
    • 62cm x 62cm x 17cm (0.07m3 / 2 Kg.)

How much do I need?

The following table gives a guide of the estimated reverberation time depending on the size of the room and the number of pieces installed.
